We watched the bald eagle family refurbish last
year’s nest but then haven’t seen much of them for several weeks. I thought
maybe they had abandoned the nest to build another elsewhere. But today we
caught a glimpse of a white head poking out of the nest. Keeping a respectful
distance, we watched her for a while. Once she shifted positions but didn’t
move far. Incubation must be in progress!
