Cirrus clouds aren’t as comely as cumulus or as
striking as stratus; in fact, they’re rather flimsy and unimpressive. Nevertheless,
I love cirrus because they grace our winter mornings with sundogs.
I was scared to take physics and struggled in
geometry, so I can’t begin to explain the wonder that is a sundog. (For the fascinating
